Teams of at least three students from TU Wien can book their own study room. These rooms provide an area for teamwork for a maximum of 3.5 hours. To make your reservation, please contact the Main Library's circulation desk, opens an external URL in a new window or the Chemistry and Mechanical Engineering Library directly.

The group study rooms are equipped with tables and chairs for up to eight persons and have whiteboards. Whiteboard pens and erasers are issued at the circulation desk, together with the room key. A parent-child room is available in the Chemistry and Mechanical Engineering Library.

Smartboard and meeting owl

We are providing the following devices for the use of TU Wien students:

• Smartboard with whiteboard function (Main Library, room 4)
• Smartboard with whiteboard function and AirPlay connection für Apple notebooks (Main Library, room 2, and Chemistry and Mechanical Engineering Library, group study room).
• A Meeting Owl (360°-video conferencing system for hybrid meetings) for use in the group study rooms. When booking the room, please indicate that you would like to use the Meeting Owl. It will be issued together with the key at the circulation desks of the Main Library and Chemistry and Mechanical Engineering Library.

The new media devices are made available as part of a joint project of TU Wien Bibliothek and the Central Room Management for Teaching and Learning, with the support of the Event and Classroom Service.
